This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Word Game Geeks (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Letter Chess mobile application and related online services (collectively, the “Services”).

Puzzles and related content you submit may be visible to other users and the public, including through sharing links. By submitting a puzzle, you understand that information associated with your submission (such as your username, puzzle title, and puzzle content) may be stored, displayed, and used by us as described in this Policy and in our Terms of Service.
User-created puzzles are considered the property of Word Game Geeks once submitted. We may retain, use, modify, or remove submitted puzzles at our sole discretion, including after you stop using the Services.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Where required by law, certain sharing of information with advertising partners for personalized or cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a “sale” or “share”; see the California section below for opt-out information.
Letter Chess may display advertisements to support the free version of the app. Ads may be delivered through Google AdMob and other third-party ad networks we may add from time to time.
Ad partners may use advertising identifiers, device information, and information about your interactions with ads to show relevant ads, limit how often you see an ad, measure ad effectiveness, and detect fraud. Ad content is provided by third parties, and their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies.
You can limit ad tracking through your device settings (for example “Limit Ad Tracking” on iOS or “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android). If you subscribe to a paid tier that removes ads, we will not show advertisements in the app while that subscription is active.
The Services may offer optional in-app purchases or subscriptions (for example to remove ads or access premium content). When you make a purchase:

The Services use third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device or help us understand how the app is used. These providers process information under their own privacy policies:
Additional third-party ad networks may be used from time to time. When we add a new ad partner, their privacy policy will apply to information they collect through the Services.
Third-party libraries may use cookies or similar technologies on web properties linked from the app. Ad partners may also use similar technologies within the app for ad delivery and measurement.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. User-generated puzzles and related records may be retained even after you stop using the Services, subject to our content moderation and removal policies.
We use commercially reasonable measures designed to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
If you are at least 13 but not of legal age in your jurisdiction, you may use the Services only with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. We may need to verify your request and may decline requests where permitted by law.

Where advertisements are shown, we and our ad partners may use personal information (such as advertising identifiers and device information) for cross-context behavioral advertising. The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Word Game Geeks operates the Services from the United Kingdom. If you access the Services from outside the United Kingdom, you understand that your information may be processed in the United Kingdom and other countries where we or our service providers operate.
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Policy and revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Policy.
